Twitch is Heading to PAX West

Nothing signals the end of another summer like another PAX West. Except maybe the Fall Equinox… Anyway!

We’re on our way to Seattle for PAX. If you’re among those lucky enough to attend, we’ll see you there, friends. If you can’t make it, worry not. We have four days of incredible content lined up for you, from panels to interviews to competitions and more.

We’re running three main PAX streams on Twitch, each live from Friday, Sept. 1 through Monday, Sept. 4. Additionally, we’re hosting the PAX Arena channel, bringing you non-stop competitive gaming all weekend long. You can find the full schedule for all four streams right here.

Here’s a glance at what we have planned for you:

  • A full slate of content coming to you live from the Twitch booth with hosts you know and love, including djWHEAT, Jon Carnage, Anna Prosser Robinson, Rachel “Seltzer” Quirico, Kelly Link, FuturemanGaming, and DJTechLive.

  • PJSaltan returns! Our infamous livestreamer competition is coming back. Who will be crowned the saltiest in Seattle? The theme for this year: adulting.

  • Coverage of PAX’s panels from the Main, Hydra, and Wyvern theatres.

  • Tons of competitive action from the PAX Arena, including tournaments for Overwatch, Injustice 2, Blade & Soul, and more!

Our PAX West 2017 event portal has down-to-the-minute details (all times are listed in PDT), so give it a look and make sure you don’t miss out!

If you are attending PAX West…

You can find us at our booth, #1909. You should follow us on Twitter @Twitch for live updates too, and if you Tweet us with the hashtag #TwitchAtPAXWest, your message may appear on the stream. Your mom is going to be so proud.

We’re hosting a Town Hall on Friday, 9/1 at 11:30am in Hydra Theatre, as well as a Twitch Q&A on Sunday, 9/3 at 11:30am in Hydra Theatre. This is the best time to learn first-hand what’s in store for Twitch in 2017. Stop by, catch our panels live, meet us, and ask us questions.

We also know that hundreds of Partnered streamers will be in attendance, and while meeting fans is an amazing experience, sometimes you’ll just need a place to relax. Swing by our Partner lounge at #1901 to grab a bite, hydrate, and rest your feet.

If you aren’t attending PAX West…

In addition to our four (count ’em) amazing streams bringing the best of PAX straight to the comfort of your home/phone/lair, you’ll have the opportunity to do some good and support very worthy causes.

On /Twitch, for every 100 Bits Cheered during PAX West, Twitch will donate $1 to charity. The funds we collect together will go toward the fundraising pool for the TwitchCon Charity Decathlon, where teams of top broadcasters will compete in various events throughout TwitchCon to score points for their charity.

Charities that benefit include: Doctors Without Borders, Stack-Up, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Direct Relief, GameChanger, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Extra Life, Save the Children, Young Survival Coalition, and American Red Cross.

Whether you’re attending PAX West live or online, we’re glad to have your company. See you in Seattle!
